KM Durant, Ok

Today was the most beautiful day in the park. I am very upset that it was the last. Tomorrow we are going shopping. I got to talk to a little girl named C at the picnic. She had never heard of what Jesus did for us. I shared with her and she was really excited. The M's daughter is in her class at school and will follow up with her. I can't even describe how amazing today was.

JCB Marlow, Ok

Today was aweosme. We started out prayer walking an pretty much right away we talked to this guy on a bench. He was a Protestant Christian. It was just awesome talking to another Christian in Germany. Me and S talked with a guy he was 17 and we talked for probably 30-45 minutes. He was a good kid he just didn't know some of the things he was doing is wrong. That about all that happened.

BLC Luther, Ok

Today was our picnic. It went well. I played soccer and ping-pong. We had to run for 2 trains. It was great. I miss everyone. See you Saturday.

C L Muldrow, OK

Today was awesome. It was cooler, so more people csme to the park. We met these boys and talked to them for a while. One even said I was his friend. We sort of handed our contacts over to the M's. Pray that the contacts will continue to show interest.

LT Balko, OK

Wow, what a day! I seen a few more contacts-was able to share my story- all but one contact of the week came to our picnic. None made decisions, but all were very interested in simple church here. I am sad to be leaving but miss you all very much. Troy I love u!

TEC Moore, Ok

I finally got the opportunity to get to know some people! I talked for probably over an hour and a half with 2 women named O and P. They seemed to agree with everything we said about God and the church but didn't know how to act on it because the Catholic church here is so out of touch with the people. Until next time, T

KMG Altus, OK

Today we helped P and O paint today. We also talked to T and we invited them all to our picnic. They all came (other people too) and our group got to talk to them in a spiritual conversation. This was our last day because tomorrow we just shop! Love ya!

Hey everyone! It's day 2 here in Germany and I was a little jet lagged until I tripped up the stairs on the way to worship...twice! We prayer walked to three hours today in Dusseldorf! I have learned so much and my life has changed in just a few days. Our team is getting so much accomplished! I'm loving every second. Love yall! Keep praying! Psalms 145:1-7

LT-Balko, OK

Wow, what an amazing day! We went to Dusseldorf, about 30 min on train to a beautiful park! We prayer walked all over the park. It was really neat how God just laid different things on my heart to pray about. Tomorrow we will engage as God leads. I miss you all. Please pray for divine appointments tomorrow. I love you T! I will be praying for FC!

KM-Durant, OK

Today was awesome! We had worship and teaching. Then we broke up into our teams and read Acts. It's cool to see how we are doing the same things Paul and his apostles did. We then took a 30 minute train ride to Dusseldorf. We walked around the park and prayer walked. People are so peaceful here. I know that they have longings that need to be filled though. Pray for us to be bold tomorrow and for the people we come in contact with. I miss everyone! Love you guys!

TEC Moore, OK

We took a train to Dusseldorf today and walked over to a park to prayer walk. It's still hard not to feel sleepy because of the time change but we're getting through! It's so different here; the lack of religion is obvious despite the giant churches. Pray for Germany!

KMG Attus, OK

Today we went to this park and we prayer walked for about 3 hours. (I think) we're at Dusseldorf and it's amazing to see how big these trees are because it shows you that God has to be huge and beautiful! His creation is gorgeous! I'm having fun! Keep us in your prayers! Love ya!!

Hey to all! Today has been crazy, as soon as we got here after we debriefed we went out in groups of 10 and went to different locations, riding busses and walking to get acquainted with the area and public transportation. KM-Durant, OK

We arrived in Frankfurt at 8:00. We rode a train to Cologne. After unloading at the hostel we went on a six hour scavenger hunt. We learned our way around the city and now to communicate what we need. I am excited about tomorrow. Pray that our eyes will be opened to opportunities to minister. Also, pray that we will break out of our comfort zones and follow where God leads.

MAP-Amarillo, TX

We are finally here! I still can't believe it, we passed base camp, survived "Igosia" and now its time for the real thing! I bet that my team walked about 14 million steps on stairs in the past 24 hours. This time change is pretty hectic but we know that God won't give us anything we can't handle. We are learning so much and so well! Keep us in your prayers, love yall, in his service.

CL - Muldrow, OK

Everyone is exhausted. The city is a beautiful place, but it seems oblivious to the suffering on its own streets. pr that God will use us. its gonna be a long adventure.

CP - hollis ok

The city is amazing, so beautiful. I'm really tired but I'm having a blast!

KDF Ponca City

So I got here ok. Its amazing how boring a flight can be. After we arrived, we have been going non-stop and its been really tiring. Anyways, gotta go.

Wow... that was a long plane ride! I could say so much about this city but I wouldn't know where to start! to sum it up... the city is an insanely interesting city and I know God could really work here.

CH Newalla

We finally made it after so long. As we arrived you could just tell the sadness in people's lives. They're missing something and a lot of them know it. Just pray that God will use it in an impactful way.

Hey we made it to Germany safely. The train ride was awesome. I was with A and we walked around a lot. I got to ride an ICE train. I am having a wonderful time and we need prayer for everyone over here and parents. I miss you all.

God is good. That is all this is to say...almost. God brought situations along that allowed the team and myself to really be bold and share. Sowing was huge today after plowing. God brought along a woman named Angel that was in need of encouragement. God used us to bring it. My friend Stefan got to hear about hope found in Jesus. GOd is good and it's time to take these things home! Psalm 115: 1, 15

BDC, Bartlesville, OK

Today was an awesome day at the park. Me and CC talked to a lady named Gabriela who believed in God. She was great to talk to. Then we talked to an elderly lady named Helga. She was so sweet and was a believer. Others on our team also talked to people. I really felt God at work.

JZR, Stonewall, OK

Was nice today. Very nice cool weather. Just good things happened all day. We did the same things as before, but tonight there was a picnic tonight at teh central park at Koln. Was fun and very lot of people there. Was nice, even though there was a lot of people drinking there. Now we are going on from back to hostel. I'm exhausted...and hungry and tired, but I"m going to see about running tonight or tomorrow morning.

BJ, Dickson, OK

Guess what everybody? I'm one short a bible, and I'm so excited. I met two girls today...Bianca and Desiree who didn't believe in God and didn't attend church, but they both wanted Bibles. It was incredible. Keep praying! Luv you guys!

VW, Duncan, OK

This whole week has been great. The experience for me taught me many things I had not known yet. It has all been great.

AAM, Pawnee, OK

Today we had our SC and we wrote what we were going to do when we got back today. I met 2 girls. They were Bicona and Desiree. God gave me boldness today and let me show kindness today.

RN, Durant, OK

Today was a great last day. We got to talk to all our contacts and see them one last time. The picnic was really fun. I am ready for tomorrow but am sad we have to leave all the contacts. God has really layed missions on my heart, so please pray that he will guide and direct me in my decision.

BDC, Bartlesville, OK

Went to zoo park, had SC (simple church) then we broke up into groups of two and went over Acts and answered and talked about some LTG's (life transformation groups) questions. I was only able to talk to a few people so we mostly plowed (pray walked). I pray God will bring more people that speak English and want to talk to us.

JZR, Stonewall, OK

I liked today. Woke up at 6 this morning and dried laundry. Woke Austin up at 6:50. Went to breakfast, during breakfast I drank like 5 glasses of milk and 4 glasses of OJ- soo good! Then, went to finish Acts and went to worship service. Went vintaging out at Dusseldorf. We had church in the zoo park. Prayerwalked and had LTG groups (sorta like accountability groups). Was ok. Walked around, prayerwalked, and played around a little. Then I went walking and found our friends from yesterday. I played a little kicked futbol with R and E. Then DD and AM joined in and H joined in and we played frisbee and had a really fun time and good communication and I even asked them if they go to cathedral; they said no time. But it was fun and good. We left at 6 and ate. I just really only at eis, but it was very good and it filled me up. (Then -flashback- the family gave me their frisbee when we left). Then, evening worship/testimonies/lesson.

AC, Sand Springs, OK

Today was more of a plowing day for me. I didn't get to talk to anyone myself, but I did help in getting conversations started.

VW, Duncan, OK

It was a blessing for me to be able to participate in praying for my other team members who were connecting with others and sharing their stories.

DD, Marietta, OK

Today was a bit tiring, but well worth it. It is hard to believe that it is already Thursday. God has let our contacts come back, but we haven't shared stories yet. Pray for that for this last day! Thanks! Psalm 115:1, 15

CC, Bartlesville, OK

Today was good (gute). We split up into small groups for LTG and talked about prayer request and praises, and about Acts. It was good. Met a girl, A, last night and I had a chance to talk to her and we're planning on talking again tonight! Please pray that God would soften her heart and that maybe Christ would be able to reach her through me. Miss ya'll!

BJ, Fletcher, OK

Today at our Zoo park, things started out very slow, so we prayerwalked for two hours. Then all of a sudden it seemed as if God just made all of the people we had previously formed relationships with appear. We have invited them all to a group picnic on Friday. Cover Germany with prayers! Danke! I love you Mom, Dad, Myshy, and everyone else!

RN, Durant, OK

Samuel, the guy I made contact with yesterday came back with his twin brother. The JSI's got to talk to them more than anyone else. It really hit me today that in 3 days I'm going to be home and I don't know if I'm ready to come home. I really miss my family but this country is just amazing. Please continue to pray for us. I love you guys!

AAM, Pawnee, OK

We went back to Dusseldorf to Zoo park today. We went to a new spot in the park today to have SC. Then we got into pairs and shared our story with our partner. After telling our stories, we did LTG and Rachel, Amber, and I went to a small cafe to have our LTG. After we finished, we went to the park again to find our group. While we were finding our group, we prayerwalked. What God showed me today was to be patient and obedient and to just wait, and if I just needed to plow than I would.

AM, Lawton, OK

Hey everyone! I'm even tireder than yesterday. I don't know why. My shoes keep falling more and more apart. I need duct tape. Lol. We talked to a bunch of more people today. I'm going to try to call tonight. Bye bye

JZR, Stonewall, OK

It was kinda hot today. There was shade though. Me and Daniel prayerwalked for like an hour, then we went to the soccer part (well, that's where we started). We played frisbee, volleyball, football. Then we walked around more (me and Daniel) and prayed. Then, we found a group of people playing frisbee and we offered if we could play. We played and then we played fussball and talked more and asked if they could come back tomorrow. It was amazing! I just kept asking God to give us an opportunity and after a little while, it happened. My discouragement dropped and my motivation rose a lot.

BDC, Bartlesville, OK

Today I prayerwalked with CC at Zoo park. Then we all played some games, some of them were with other people playing in the park. We fed the ducks and the other people seem to like that. Some of the team had a chance to talk with people. Some of us talked to a guy named Samuel. He has a twin named Emmanuel. Please pray for all of these people. Many of them really need.

RN, Durant, OK

I got the chance to speak to a guy from Nigeria, his name is Samuel. His mom is a pastor and he is very glad to see the lively people in the park. He is planning on coming to our picnic Friday and I'm very excited. God has really shown me a lot of things this week. So just continue to pray for me and everyone else this week. I love and miss you guys!

AAM, Pawnee, OK

Today we went back to Dusseldorf. Today I got to talk to a woman with 2 twin boys, I invited her famil to teh picnic that we're having. I talked with many others, but not for a long time, because they couldn't speak English. We played some games with teenagers like frisbee and volleyball. We met a guy named Samuel and he went with us to the duck pond, and talked with him for a long time. In the past 2 days, God has really given our team boldness and to not be sh so we could talk to others.

BJ, Dickson, OK

Today was another incredible day. I love the way you can literally see God work. Please continue praying that we can speak clearly and boldly, but also pray that God will send people who can speak English. 99% of the people in our park speak only German. God is amazing. I love you all!!!!!!

AM, Lawton, OK

Hey everyone back in Okee-homa, I'm finally getting a little less tired. I went to the Zoo park in Dusseldorf again. Dominique (my friend from the day before) was there. We all played sports for a few hours. Then he left and we went to the lake and fed the ducks. We also played frisbee with 4 people for about an hour. It was fun. For the last hour Amber and I talked to this Indian lady that lived in Germany. She was nice. Then we ate by the train station. I hope everyting's ok at home. Bye

CC, Bartlesville, OK

Today at Zoo park in Dusseldorf everyone I went up to talk to didn't speak English so I put my German to work and was able to slightly communicate with some- but not much. I just ask that you'd pray that the language barrier wouldn't keep us from being able to talk to them- that God would help us to get around that difference. Thank you and I miss you all at home in B-ville!

AC, Sand Springs, OK

I was really excited because I had the opportunity to talk to a Buddhist woman. I really felt God telling me what to say. She is still to be won for Christ. God gave me that opportunity to plant a seed.

DD, Marietta, OK

God moved in amazing ways today. After a great teaching time this morning, we headed to our site. Our team got to meet up with most everyone that we made contact with yesterday and new relationships were formed through small things like feeding ducks and playing frisbee. Pray for growth in teh relationships and for chances to sow seed. Thanks and keep the work up at home! Psalm 115:1, 15

Tuesday, July 11, 2006

DD, Marietta, OK

It rained a little bit today at our site when we got there this afernoon. We feared it would hold the people off from coming, but it didn't. God worked through all students and it was amazing. Pray for more opportunities to be more direct! Thanks
Psalm 115:1, 15

RN, Durant, OK

Today I tried to talk to some people but they did not know English, so I didn't get much said. We also went to the duck pond and fed the ducks. We attracted several children and adults and got the chance to speak to them. God has really laid Darrell on my heart this week. I sat nex tot him on the plane and i have been praying for him. I'm thankful God gave me the chance to meet him and get contact info. But it has been a great week so far. God bless!

BDC, Bartlesville, OK

We all are doing our on site in Dusseldorf Zoo park- it's a nice park, we prayerwalked and spoke to a German lady who told us she believed in God and prayed every morning. We fed the ducks and a man took our picture. Some of the team played soccer. On the way back to the hostel, I spoke to a man from Morocco. I just really felt God was using us today. It was wonderful.

BJ, Dickson, OK

Germany is incredble...once you get over jet lag! Today was my first day to go to the maroon group's site. We prayer walked for a few hours, shared our testimonies with each other, volleyed a volleyball, and my favorite...fed the ducks. While we were prayer walking, we had the opportunity to speak to an older woman. She didn't speak much English, but she understood enough to tell us she prayed every morning and she loved Jesus. Then amazingly, she gave us "bon bons" or candy (they don't do that very often). I can't wait to see what God will do tomorrow! Love ya!!!

JZR, Stonewall, OK

Ok. We went out to teh park again and gave our stories. Then, when I was finishing mine, it started to rain- so it rained and some of the people played soccer, some went to a cafe and waited out the storm. I prayer walked through the rain and some after. Some of the soccer guys met people. One of our guys played ping pong with some kid and we invited him to dinner. THen we got on our train and herded back for celebration---I'm kinda tired today.

AM, Lawton, OK

Hey Mom, Dad, and Michaelah. I'm still pretty tired. We've been doing a lot of prayer walking! Today we just hung out at the park getting to know some Germans there. I met this kid named Dominique. He came and ate dinner with us. Hopefully he comes back tomorrow. We are on our way back to Cologne now because our group goes to Dusseldorf. See you guys on teh 26th!

AC, Sand Springs, OK

Today was so fun! I got to talk to a girl today. It is interesting to talk to all of the different people here. God answered many prayers today and helped us start relationships.

CC, Bartlesville, OK

God has spoken to me thsi week. Each flight was somewhat delayed by a few hours. God taught me about patience. As for today in Dusseldorf, I talked and played soccer with a 17 year old. On the train home to Cologne 3 of us girls had a chance to talk with a Muslim. It was interesting.

VW, Duncan, OK

Today was totally awesome. We came in contact with so many people. God really has great plans for us, I can feel it. We fed ducks our bread and got to share our food with other people. On our train back to the hostel, we spoke with a man and he had a prayer request for Muslims to be accepted throughout the world so maybe you could help with that. Well that's all for now. Bye:)

AAM, Pawnee, OK

Today God let me talk to people, some people that I spoke to were not able to speak English. Our meeting place today was the duck pond, we attracted kids and they fed them also. On the way back from Dusseldorf we met a man from Morocco and visited with him all the way back from Cologne. God gave me boldness today and let me step out of my comfort zone and I was able to talk to people.

We went to Dusseldorf and saw the city. We went to a park and did p.walking at around 6:00 we left zoo park. We went to go eat, I ate at Pizza Royal and it was yummy! We had an option to eat ice cream, but I didn't choose to. We went to the HBF and waited for our train. Our train was late, finally it arrived. Went back to Cologne and went to w. service and went to bed.

So far, this trip has been amazing! We went prayerwalking today in Zoo Park and I saw prayers answered and God at work! It's amazing what prayerwalking can do. I'm loking forward to see what God is going to do this week!

Today we went to our sites. We took a day to just pray for the people that we will meet. I felt very blessed to pray for the people of Germany. It was awesome to walk around the park and talk to God about the things we saw. I can't wait to see the rest God has in store for this week.

Today we went to Dusseldorf and went to the zoo park. Prayerwalking was a challenge for me because I am not the most outgoing person, but I feel that my confidence will get better through this experience. So far, I am having a great trip. Bye

On train back to hostel. Was nice today. Weather was nice. We walked with color groups to go on train to the park. We had prayerwalking in the park for like 4-6 hours; was really good. It is funf nach acht right now and we will get off in 20 minutes. The ice cream (eis) and milk is very good here. Fell asleep last night at 12:30 because of the world cup and all the fans. It finally got dark at 10:30 and by then all the partying and yelling started. That ruins my total dark-total silence sleeping...I can't believe this day is already over. Gosh.

Hey everybody! So far this trip is amazing. Things have certainly not gone as planned, but it's amazing to see how God has used our worst experiences to be a witness for him. Keep praying for us and for the people of Cologne. Prayer is the foundation of everything we do. I love you guys!

AM, Lawton, OK

The trip has been nonstop action the whole time. We have been learning so much and working really hard. Base camp was crazy! I haven't slept at all but the first night at base camp and it's Sunday right now in Germany. We had fun at our six hour layover in Atlanta. I couldn't sleep at all on the plane to Frankfurt. We've been walking around Cologne. My legs are tired and I'm hungry.
